OK I know that I said that I did not like the first Twilight movie and would probably not go to the second one...well here is the picture of the "new" Wolf Pack for the second movie (vampires and werewolves oh my).
Yeah I am going to the movie when it opens.

I had absolutely zero interest in anything Twilight-related until I saw this picture...
XOXOXOXO
The girls (Daughter and Emergency Back Up Daughter #1) didn't like the book but did like the movie. I'm betting number two movie will be on their list.
I'm just now reading the first book and don't know if I want to read the others. So far, it's basically a sappy romance novel where the girl goes for the ultimate bad boy. All that "stay away from me / I want you" roller coaster is getting old, but I'll stick with it and finish it.
Also, I can't figure out why a school has all those separate buildings in a place where it rains all the time. Students have to go outside every time they change classes. Who thought that was a good plan?
I liked the books (easy reads and descriptive) although I have scoffed at anyone that compares them to Harry Potter. Joy you are correct they are a teenage romance novel with a little infighting to make it interesting. I just hated the first movie but these boys are hot so I will see the second. Oh and Joy the second book is hard to get through but #3 and #4 are pretty good.
I finished the first book, and it got better. I'm into the second one now and will carry on. I'll watch the movies because of what we'll do for grandchildren!
Oh you are right! Absolutely no comparison to Harry Potter. J. K. Rowling writes extremely well and is an amazing storyteller! She deserves all the praise and money she's had! I haven't found anything to equal those books since.
