Final Dream Emmy Ballot

Hopefully after all of this hard work on the part of Michael Ausiello, some way, some how, the Emmy voters will take notice and recognize the shows that deserve it. This final ballot is Best Drama and Best Comedy series. As most of you know I will be pulling for Friday Night Lights and How I Met Your Mother. Feel free to announce who you want on the ballot and to win as well. See the full post here on EW. com.

Best Drama
Big Love (HBO)
Breaking Bad (AMC)
Friday Night Lights (DirecTV/NBC): They shot, they scored their best season since the first. Touchdown!
Mad Men (AMC)
Rescue Me (FX)
The Shield (FX)

Best Comedy
30 Rock (NBC)
The Big Bang Theory (CBS)
Chuck (NBC)
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): The fact that it's never been nominated is -- wait for it -- unacceptable.
The Office (NBC)
Pushing Daisies (ABC)

Tune in to find out who does actually get nominated and for those of us that root for the underdogs...fingers crossed.

Dream Emmy Ballot- Part 4

Michael Ausiello has delivered yet another snippet to his dream Emmy ballot (full post here). These are for lead actor/actress in a drama. The only one that I am completely sure of is the ever-yummy Kyle Chandler from Friday Night Lights. The other shows are either too serious or way over my head.

Best Actor (Drama)
Gabriel Byrne (In Treatment)
Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights): The series' heart and soul never punts. Ever.
Michael Chiklis (The Shield)
Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad)
Hugh Laurie (House)
Denis Leary (Rescue Me)

Best Actress (Drama)
January Jones (Mad Men)
Regina King (Southland)
Jeanne Tripplehorn (Big Love)
Glenn Close (Damages)
Evangeline Lilly (Lost)
Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men)

Did anyone get left off this list?

Here it is Part Three - Dream Emmy Ballot

Michael Ausiello has provided me with even more to stew over with his most recent appeal to the Emmy voters. In this segment we have the Lead Actor/Actress in a comedy...Let me know what you think.

Best Lead Actor (Comedy)
Alec Baldwin (30 Rock)
Kyle Bornheimer (Worst Week)
Steve Carell (The Office)
Zachary Levi (Chuck)
Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory)
James Roday (Psych)

Best Lead Actress (Comedy)
Christina Applegate (Samantha Who?)
Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory)
America Ferrera (Ugly Betty)
Tina Fey (30 Rock)
Joanna Garcia (Privileged)
Eva Longoria-Parker (Desperate Housewives)

I love that he mentioned Zahery Levi from Chuck but I am a little tired of Steve Carell. Just my opinions. See full post here.

Dream Emmy Ballot part 2 (I Love MA)

Michael Ausiello released his next wave of ballot begging to the Emmy voters in the form of Supporting Actress/Actor in a drama. I am not as heavily invested in these just because I do not watch many of these shows...however, the amazing, beautiful, awesome and sensational Connie Britton from Friday Night Lights is considered supporting? I am not so sure about that. Here are the most recent additions (see full post here) and I am including what Mr. Ausiello said about Connie Britton just because it is nice to know someone out there loves her as much as I do.

Best Supporting Actress (Drama)
* Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights): Episode 8. When her character realizes she isn't going to be getting her new dream home. Excitement. Desperation. Resignation. All in three minutes. She deserves her own category.
* Ginnifer Goodwin (Big Love)
* Katherine Heigl (Grey's Anatomy
* Christina Hendricks (Mad Men)
* Alison Pill (In Treatment)
* CCH Pounder (The Shield)
* Chloe Sevigny (Big Love)

Best Supporting Actor (Drama)
* Walton Goggins (The Shield)
* Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad)
* John Noble (Fringe)
* Jeremy Davies (Lost)
* Ryan Kwanten (True Blood)
* Jon Voight (24)

Is there anyone missing? Maybe some of the kids from FNL, ER had an amazing final year, anyone else?

Michael Ausiello is my Hero (sort of)

As most of you know I take what Michael Ausiello says as my bible. He does all the scoop (down and dirty info) for Entertainment Weekly and makes sure that we are all informed when something big happens (big in entertainment people). So today Mr. Ausiello has begun his annual "dream" Emmy ballot listing all of his picks for the top award in hopes that Emmy voters will listen to him (he has been pushing Friday Night Lights for two years). Let me just say that before posting his choices I again commend his picks and hope that maybe this will be the year that someone pays attention. All hail to the Best Supporting Actress and Actor Category (see full post here)...

Best Supporting Actress (Comedy)

* Andrea Anders (Better Off Ted)
* Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies)
* Jennifer Esposito (Samantha Who?)
* Jane Krakowski (30 Rock)
* Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother)
* Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty)

Best Supporting Actor (Comedy)
* Adam Baldwin (Chuck)
* Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother)
* Chi McBride (Pushing Daisies)
* Tracy Morgan (30 Rock)
* Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother)
* Michael Urie (Ugly Betty)

Did he miss anyone? Of course How I met Your Mother is one of my favorite shows on television so I loved seeing three from this show but who else?
