The Biggest Loser

I have not watched this show in a few years (I gave it up for awhile just because it started to make me feel guilty).  For some reason I decided to watch last night and I am not sure if I will continue.

First of all, they have 2 "secret" trainers that the fatestants (can I say this?) could choose to train with or they could train with Bob and Jillian.  And they still won't show us who the "secret" trainers are.  Slightly annoying...just saying.

Secondly, everyone has a depressing story to tell.  Remember how, back in the day, you could get on the Real World just as a normal college student (for the most part).  Well now everyone has to have a story and us normal (I know that this is subjective) people never stand a chance to be on a reality show (if we wanted to).  I know that morbid obesity is never normal but my goodness some of these stories are heart wrenching.

And finally, Jillian gets on my nerves.  I love it when she announces that she is not going to yell this season and then starts screaming at each fatestants individually.  I still love Bob though and would love for him to be my trainer (if I actually liked exercising).

Did anyone else watch last night?  What did you think?  Are you pulling for anyone yet?  I think that I like the Blue team (father/son).  But it may be too early to tell..

The Biggest Loser Tonight!!!!

Don't forget the two hour season premiere of The Biggest Loser tonight. As I watch I hope to get motivated to have my own transformation this season. I am a stress eater (I hate those bitches that get stressed and lose weight) and lately with all of the stress (no money, job issues etc) I have been eating like a fiend. And crap, I eat crap. Its not like I crave salad. Anyway, I will be watching tonight. I have been missing Bob (and Jillian too). Update tomorrow. Later all, I am off to soccer.

The Biggest Loser - Thank God for Tivo!

The three hours of the live broadcast last night to crown the new Biggest Loser, was quite possibly the longest three hours ever! And to top it off I am pissed about the winners for both prizes! And I hated the way that they made those two poor girls work out and sweat and then only have one make it on the show. What has become of my show?

As most of you know, Helen (former pink team mom/daughter) has won this season of the Biggest Loser. If you remember Helen is the one that chose to send her daughter home and stay on the Ranch (which obviously worked out for her). It seems to me that Helen is a little selfish but what do I know? Plus she did not look that great last night. No seriously, it was almost like she lost too much weight. Being that skinny makes her nose look bigger (did I say that). OK, OK I am bitter (a little). Mike only lost by 4 pounds! 4 Pounds! That's one giant trip to the bathroom. Tara looked really good but it seemed as if she knew she was not going to win.

As for the take home prize, I was rooting for Kristin. I wanted her to win and she deserved it. It was not meant to be. The prize went to Jerry (who was on the Ranch like 2 weeks) who looked too skinny as well. Plus did Jerry seem a little drunk last night to anyone else? He never really said anything, he just flexed his muscles (?). So sad to see that David of the orange team has not lost any more weight. The boy needs help and I hope that he gets it.

All and all a good season of the show, not a great season (because who I wanted to win did not). I still love the show, I am just ready for someone that Bob trains to win (OK not a Heba or Vicky but maybe a Kristin). Later taters.

Helen Wins???

More on this later but I wanted everyone to know how disappointed I am with the ending of The Biggest Loser. Helen was my least favorite contestant and she won. Mike lost by only 4 pounds! Anyway here is the story on People.com (click here) and I will discuss more later. I am just so mad.

Who will it be?

Who will be the Biggest Loser tonight? Will it be Tara who seemingly can do no wrong and has never lost a weigh in? Helen who is a selfish bitch and sent her daughter home (did I write that)?, Ron who has been gunning for his son to win the entire time? Or Mike, the youngest contestant in Biggest Loser history? Also who is going to take home the "take home" (hee hee) prize? All questions will be answered tonight in an excruciatingly long 3 hour live episode.

The Biggest Sap Fest (I mean Loser)

Sap Fest! Sap Fest! Sap Fest! That was basically all last night's episode of The Biggest Loser was. A lot of "living my life now, "making the right decisions", and "finding the balance" crap was spouted for what was possibly the longest two hours of the season. Let me quit my bitching and give you the rundown.

The night began with all 4 of the contestants heading home for a month. At the end of that month they would have to return to the Ranch for a weigh in to determine the final 3. Everyone had trouble at home. I compare it to an addict (lets face it they are) going home from rehab. Anyway a few days in, each contestants receives a challenge box. They all have to finish a marathon. They had 26 days to train for 26 miles. Helen and Tara ran for a good portion of their marathon. Mike had to walk (he hurt his hip training and was mad as hell) and of course Ron walked (with a cane). All 4 were determined to finish. And all 4 finished. It took Ron a long, long (long, long) time but he completed the 26 miles.

Next up was the weigh in. With the final three on the line both Ron and Mike pulled decent numbers but it was not enough. Both members of the Brown team fell below the yellow line. So now America has to decide if Ron or Mike should compete in the live finale'. Ron of course urged everyone to vote for Mike (Mike has a better chance to win) while Mike said he would be happy with either choice (yeah right).

The finale' is next week and we will find out who is this years Biggest Loser. I can't decide who I want to win...still. I can't stand Helen and every time she speaks I cringe and fast forward. Tara has worked hard I know but she too seems so full of herself. If not for the scheming of his father, Mike seems like a genuinely nice 18 year old with some integrity. And Ron, well what can you say about Ron (the Godfather)? He has played the game, well. Till next week I guess. I am thinking...Go Mike (maybe).

The Biggest Loser - The Final Four

Once again Jillian is going to win The Biggest Loser. Once again Bob has no real horse in the race (Ron does not count). And once again the final four has someone (or a couple of someones) that annoy the hell out of me and that I don't want to win.

The basic rundown of last night was this: Everyone cried (A LOT!!!) while they viewed their transformations. Tara won the challenge (again). And the final two members of Bob's team fell below the yellow line. I know you are wondering how that took two hours and yes I wonder that as well.

Anyway, Filipe and Ron fell below the yellow line and there is no sane person that would have kept Filipe in the race (he was a huge threat) so Ron stayed and Filipe went home to reinvent his culture (of overweight people).

Now here is my issue...not only is Helen still around but so is the mighty Tara. Helen just annoys me. Ever since she sent her daughter home (to stay herself) I have disliked her and as I have discovered over the weeks, everything out of her mouth is a soundbite. She practices what will sound good in front of the camera and wants to make sure that she says the "inspiring" things that will get her noticed. "I never thought I could do it", I will never see that weight again", "I am forty-eight and still going strong" you get the picture. Nothing out of her mouth sounds sincere. As for Tara, I must give her props for all that she has done but enough already. Stop talking about getting your life back (OK and I call bullshit on the "I don't care about the money" speech last night). She has already won everything, does she have to win the finale too?

Next week I think that the final four is narrowed down to three (by the America public). Who will be in the finale is anyone's guess. I hope that it is Mike who wins it all (although I am still mad about the Kristin thing) but if you have to pick the lesser of all evils he would be my pick. By the way Ron's planning worked perfectly...until America votes. He has no control over that or does he?

The Biggest Loser - Who has the power?

I think the funniest thing about Tuesday's show was the "Ron as the Godfather" montage. Ron was mad that the cousins voted to eliminate him and he let them know it. Other than that the show was a bit slow and the Temptation was from hell.

The Temptation was meant to give one person the power to vote off anyone; and that would be the only vote for the week. So after most of the contestants polished off thousands of calories (thousands) Laura ended up with the "Golden Ticket" and the power to decide who would go home after the weigh in. Bob and Jillian were mad about the calories consumed (very mad).

On to another challenge and another win by Tara (really this girl has to go home) and then the final weigh in. Helen (yuck) and Sione fell below the yellow line. Now we all knew what Laura was going to do. She tried to make you think that she might get rid of Helen but we knew she was sending Sione home. Even after his whining and bitching I would much rather Sione have stayed then Helen. Does anyone else think that every word out of her mouth is scripted. And lets not forget that she is the one that sent her daughter home in the beginning. But, of course, Helen stayed and Sione was sent packing (I thought he had a chance to win).

Next week is makeover week. Can't wait. What is it about a good makeover?

The Biggest Loser - What a Waste!

I have not blogged about the Biggest Loser for two weeks; and as I sat down to discuss I realize that nothing really has happened. Sure Aubrey went home and that was sad (two weeks ago) . But this week was a total waste of time. Nicole (formerly of the Red team) came back and then was sent home again...literally.

This week the contestants who did not get a fair shake (basically did not get to come back to the Ranch at all) got to weigh in to see who got a second chance. After losing 87 (!) pounds at home Nicole rejoined the group. But it proved to be too much pressure and she gained weight for the week thus giving everyone an opportunity to send her right back home. Just a waste of a show I think.

Although I must quickly bitch about Tara the "former model" (who in the hell did she model for anyway?). The minute Nicole came on the Ranch, Tara made sure that she knew who was in fist place. Shut up already! She keeps talking about the target on her back but if she would just work out, lose weight and keep her mouth shut no one would care. I am sick of her winning and hope that she does not win the whole thing. Seriously her nose, voice and attitude (especially the attitude) drive my crazy.

Hopefully next week will actually be meaningful to the competition. Later taters!

The Week in My Shows

My two main "Reality" shows that I have to watch every week are; The Amazing Race and The Biggest loser (now I watch others but these two get watched before anything else). My one other show that jumps to the front of my Tivo is Gossip Girl. Without further ado here is my quick take on these three shows this week and I hope to be back to normal next.

First, as stated before Gossip Girl was a huge disappointment. I have been waiting a month for new episodes and this is the tired shit they bring to me. This secret society thing that Chuck had going on was just stupid and now you want us to believe that Blair would rather be with no name Carter as opposed to Chuck Bass. As for Dan's "affair" with the teacher (who looked 15 by the way) dumb and dumber. She was too mousy to last very long and I was glad to see her leave. The play on The Age of Innocence did not work and became even more far-fetched when Serena discovered that the object of her affection was gay. I say Bring back Georgina (my God did I really say that?)!

The Amazing Race was the usual of high energy teams moving from place to place and then a hiccup. The Roadblock ended up being that one person from each team had to strip down to their skivvies and run a few miles in the cold Russian climate. So this is the Roadblock that comes up after Kris is eliminated! Really? How could you do this to me? Anyway, all the other teams completed the task as the flight attendants came in last (she had to do her run in a thong). But no elimination this week so everyone stays. As always, I hate when that happens (unless it is a team I love).

Finally, this week on The Biggest Loser the contestants all got to go home for a week and....run a half marathon? Yes they got to see their families but the challenge for the week was to complete a half marathon (13.2 miles I think) and the person with the fastest time received $10,000. With a little game play involved Sione won the money. The weigh-in was what you would expect for the teams after spending a week at home and once again the Blue team loses to the Black team. So who goes home? It should have been Audrey (not that I wanted that) since Ron, Kristin, and Cathy had an alliance but Cathy sacrificed herself (now this is how a mother should be Helen) and she was sent home. On to next week and I am ready to see one of the Black team members get sent home (just not Mike).

This is my synapses for the week (not bad right) and I finished my part of the gift for my parents. So maybe I can do it all...wait where are my children?

The Biggest Loser - Face Off

Damn this time change. I still cannot seem to get it together but I at least wanted to acknowledge a few things about Tuesday's show.

  • Obviously Mike was able to pull through for the teams and he lost 11 pounds (this is where we were left hanging last week) but no one really had time to enjoy the win.
  • The Black team continues to win everything...the challenges, the weigh ins etc. I really thought that this was the week that winning would bite them in the ass but once again they won and a member of the Blue team was sent home.
  • Explanation of above winning statement if you did not watch; the Black team won the challenge and the prize was 24 hours of luxury. No one worked out, they drank (and smoked), ate crappy food and generally let it all hang out. Even with all that they won the weigh in.
  • I hated the way that the show set up the weigh in this week with the "face off". Each member of the Black team went against one member of the Blue team. The team with the most winning combinations won. Stupid and stressful and needlessly hard for the women that had to go against the men.
  • Is anyone else sick of the cousins (Sione and Filipe)? All they do is bitch and moan about Jillian and then when Jillian actually calls them out for their behavior (while they were on the luxury prize) they get pissed and cross the line back to Bob. I am not normally a Jillian fan but these boys need to grow up and accept their lumps if they screw up.
  • Sadly Mandy was sent home (again never any discussion about Ron leaving and he can't do anything). It was touching to watch the sisters have to decide between each other; each one wanting to sacrifice for the other. In the end Mandy accepted her fate and went home.
I will do better next week (with my recaps). The show is starting to get more interesting...just one other note to NBC. We d not need all of the crazy twists! Keep things simple and about the weight loss (and human behavior) and we will still watch. I promise!

The Biggest Loser - Who needs food?

I abhor reality shows that are supposed to eliminate someone every week and then have a week that is "to be continued". It pisses me off and ruins my week of television (OK not really but when you have your mind set on something and it does not happen it messes up your psyche). Last night on The Biggest Loser no one was eliminated and nothing too exciting happened. OK a few things were worth noting.

Another week on the Ranch and another week of the Black team domination. Both the challenge (a cooking challenge with Rocco) and the other challenge (packing boxes for the Food Bank) were won by the Black team. The Food Bank challenge gave each member of the winning team free groceries for the year and the Moms on the Blue team really wanted to win. Sadly they did not but in a surprise (and extremely sweet) move Mike gave his free groceries to one of the Moms because he (being only 18) did not have a family to feed. I am liking him more and more!

During the weigh in Alison announced that if each player had lost 7 pounds (1 pound per day) for the week then no one on either team was going home. So for the remaining 11 players the total weight loss had to be over 77 pounds. At the end of the episode it was poor, young Mike (bless his heart) stepping on the scale having to lose over 9 pounds to keep everyone in the game. And that's where it ended (dammit). So we won't find out until next week if anyone goes home and how Mike's weight loss was for the week. I hate not knowing!!!!!!!

The Biggest Loser - The Real Recap

As most of you have seen (or guessed) last nights (and Tuesday nights) episode of The Biggest Loser broke the teams up into new teams of Blue (Bob) and Black (Jillian). Bob and his team were just devastated. I hold true to my statement earlier that Bob has to be mad because once again it looks as if Jillian will beat him in the finale. He lost his big guys and after the elimination last night lost his biggest threat. Here is how it all went down.

Each contestant had to do up/downs (football term) to determine who came in first (Green) and who came in last (Pink). The team that came in first got to stay with their same trainer, while the team in last had to switch. The rest of the teams had to flip a coin to determine their fate. The Brown team was the only team that was split down the middle (Mike went to Black and Ron stayed on Blue).

As the new teams started to train everyone was feeling the pull of being with their former team. Next up was a challenge and the winner received a 3 pound pass at the next weigh-in. The challenge was a 24 hour bike ride to see which team could travel the most miles. The Black team won and received the win but it was a moral victory for everyone (I am full of shit but the speeches were getting to me last night).

The weigh-in started out strong as the Blue team pulled decent numbers but you just knew that the Black team was going to take them down. And they did, so the Blue team had to determine who was going home. Now here is my issue; as a team if you want to win you want strong players on the team. I love Ron but he has never pulled big numbers because his health restricts so many of his workouts. Dane always does well and is a strong competitor but then there are 4 other women. Not once was woman mentioned as going home and this is what surprised me. You need your bigger men on the team and they got rid of their strongest. I have a feeling that the Blue team is just going down from here. With Dane gone, any challenges should be easily won by the Black team.

So that is it in a nutshell and the next few weeks should be interesting. I hate that the teams were moved around but we needed a shake-up with Joelle gone (the show was getting a little boring).

The Biggest Loser - Black and Blue

I will post more tomorrow but I have just seen both hours of The Biggest Loser and I must say; I am in shock! Bob crying uncontrollably about the loss of his team (is that because he cares or because he wanted to win) was enough to really throw me for a loop. But then the Blue team got rid of Dane and kept Ron. Now I have loved Ron (and his son) the entire show but there is no way that Bob will win now with Ron and 4 women on his team compared to Jillian's Black team which is 3 men strong. Full recap tomorrow afternoon but damn!

The Biggest Loser - Be Careful What You Wish For

I hate to say it (and I will bite my tongue in a minute) but The Biggest Loser has become slightly ho-hum (is that a word?). Now that Joelle is gone and I have no one to hate on, I am ambivalent (nice word right) about who stays or who goes.

For example, this week when the remaining contestants had to fight to keep the gym, you just knew that one of the two teams that had gym privileges (Pink or Brown) would fall below the yellow line. It was just too easy.

So after another immunity challenge (barely paid attention, something to do with rowing) the weigh in happened and surprise, surprise Pink fell below the yellow line.

Now I do need to mention the one thing that caught me off guard when Pink fell below and one of their members had to go. The Pink team is a mother/daughter team in which the mom has been on the Ranch the entire time. The daughter was brought back (after the first month with everyone else) but at this point the Mom wants to stay. As a parent, I want to give my children everything. Everything I never had and then some. It is the only aspect of my life in which I am completely unselfish. Not so for Pink mom! She wants to be on the Ranch and she gets what she wants. Screw her fat daughter who needs help too! Nice parenting by the way.

Till next week.

The Biggest Loser - They're Back

As everyone welcomed their teammates back; some were still missing Dan and David and lamenting the fact that they had to go home. The episode started with the at-home people weighing in and vying for immunity (the person that lost the most weight at home earned immunity for their team). Some did good (Laura, Cathy), while others did great (Carla, Shanon, Sione), while still others were awful (Aubrey). I did love it when Aubrey started to make excuses about muscle and fat and Jillian (and Bob) just shut that down. Sione ended up winning immunity for he and his cousin, Filipe (blue team) which guaranteed them another week at the ranch.

I will admit I paid very little attention to the challenge. It was something about ropes and partners where each team had to cross a finish line and try to win either $5000 or a 2-pound pass. The yellow team won the challenge and opted for the 2-pound pass.

Once again the last chance workout was brutal. Joelle did nothing (as usual) and continued to spout her nonsensical bullshit. I do wonder if Carla would go off on her again (always makes for good TV) because she seemed to be working her ass off.

The weigh in was (and is) as always shocking to see who does well and who does not. OK, the Joelle news (she lost 0) was not shocking but others were (I hate that the Brown team is under the yellow line again). So who will be voted off, Brown or Silver? Some will vote for Silver just because of Carla (she really wants it), but others will feel for Brown and young Mike. The suspense is killing me. At least the Brown team has two members that want to be on the Ranch. When asked flat out if she wanted to be on the Ranch, Joelle still could not give a straight answer. Oh wait Carla is going off on Joelle now...damn she is going to kick her ass. Joelle is smirking at her. Please tell her to shut up! Carla is crying. They will no longer be friends when this is over. As Shanon said, "Joelle opens her mouth and it is like she is not even on this planet." So true Shanon, so true!

So who gets to stay? Wait Joelle is still talking. They are voting her off and she is still making excuses. Finally no more chances for Joelle and the Silver team goes home. I feel for Carla because she was great but I am so pleased that Joelle and her mouth are leaving the Ranch. No one even hugs Joelle. I would throw out a "bless her heart" but I can't. The Silver team meets up for the first time in their transformation moment and Joelle is still burying her head n the sand. Oh wait they are no longer friends. Joelle curses at Carla and walks out. No more Silver team. Fine, go Carla and go to hell Joelle and your nasty attitude!

The Biggest Loser - Got To Get Them Young

After watching last nights episode of The Biggest Loser I started thinking about all of the junk food that my children eat and I really started with the "what ifs". What if my child was obese? What would I do to help them? This season on The Biggest Loser I have really seen what can happen to your children if you let eating and lack of exercise take over.

The episode began with Bob's team voicing how upset they were; and rightly so! Jillian's team used game play to keep someone that Bob's team wanted to get rid of (Joelle) and completely lied about what they were going to do. When Blaine and Dane (the Black team) tried to comfort Bob's team, I wanted someone to punch them in the lip. You made your choice, we now know that ya'll are in this for the game.

Moving on to a calorie challange, the contestants were presented with Super Bowl food and asked to calculate the calories in some of their favorites. The winner would get a 2 pound pass for their partner and the opportunity to send guest chef Curtis Stone home to help them learn to cook more healthy. Dan won the prize and Chef Stone headed to North Carolina to help Dave. Now I must say David (Orange) does not seem to be very in to the whol Biggest Loser phenomenon. Chef Stone tried to help but you could see that much more work needed to be done.

Keeping with the "Football" theme the challange was next to win the top player immunity and to ensure that whoever won would welcome their partner back on the Ranch. Kurt Warner showed up to cheer on the contestants and I know that NBC had no idea at the time what a coo this would be (who knew that Warner would be takig the Arizona Cardinals to the Super Bowl?). Helen (of the Pink team) won the challange and guaranteed that her daughter would be returning.

During the "last chance workout" Joelle finally showed her teammates that she wanted to stay and she stepped up her game. I still don't like her and her fakeness but I do like Carla, so Silver can stick around for awhile. The weigh in was difficult. Before everyone weighed in their long-lost teammates returned and had to wait to see if they would be coming back. Brown and Orange fell below the yellow line in what most agreed was the worse case scenerio. Mike (of the Brown team) and Dan (from the Orange team) were the yougest players on the Ranch and both needed to stick around. But after Dave (Orange team) acted as if he could care less, the Orange team was sent home.

In the transformation moment at the end of the show Dan showed excellent improvement and had lost over 100 pounds. David, on the other hand, lost a little over 40 pounds and does not seem to be taking any of this very seriously. In fact his big announcement was that he had quit smoking, which is great but quiting fried chicken is important as well Dave.

So everyone is back next week and it will be fun to see how the pairs mesh after being apart for a month. I am looking forward to Carla and her mouth. Later taters.

The Biggest Loser - Let The Games Begin...

Really? Really? It has started already and the season is only three weeks old. The Game Play has begin and poor Damien (red team) is the first be eliminated because of it. Damn that fake talking Joelle and damn Jillian's team for keeping her.

Last night the players had a temptation (in which Joelle won) which meant that she got to go home and have Bob train her and Carla. Well Carla let Joelle have it for her lack of effort and Joelle just kept spouting out superficial bullshit (I am strong, I am not weak, I will do what I can...ugh, shut up). I will say Carla did not believe a word of it and let Joelle know that she was going to be pissed if she did not get to return to the Ranch.

Back at the Ranch, the challenge was an oldie but a goodie with the players doing a form of jump rope. Of course Joelle was out on the first upswing (and she looked shocked). Tara (green team) won the challenge and won immunity...again!

Finally the weigh in; most players did well but Joelle only lost 6 pounds and Damien 4 which meant that the two of them fell below the yellow line. Now this should be easy, right? Damien wants to be on the Ranch, he has given his best effort and has made friends with the other team members (Joelle distances herself, she saves herself for television I think). Jillian's team even asks Bob's team what they want them to do. Of course it would never be this easy. Jillian's team lies and picks Damien to go home leaving Joelle around for another week. Talk about Game Play! So that's it, Damien goes home and Joelle gets to stay and I will not pull for one member of Jillian's team from here on out. They are dead to me. Harsh I know but don't lie. Shitty way to play the game if you ask me and Damien has to pay the price.
On another note, Dan's teammate Dave better get back to the Ranch quickly. I am not sure that buffets and fried chicken are on the diet (although it would be nice). See you next week. Oh and sorry about the cussing this week, just got a little riled up last night.

The Biggest Loser - Joelle Shut Up!

I knew that someone was going to break apart from the pack and be the one that gets on my nerves; I just did not realize that this would happen so early in the show. But last night Joelle succeeded in making me want her gone and I realized that I was not alone.

The contestants started the week with a temptation and it was all about money. $25 thousand to leave the show now and Miss Joelle actually considered it. Not only did she announce that $25 thousand was more than she made in two years (what in the world does she do for a living?) she also let us know about living with her mama and her bad choices. This show is to fix your body it is not "extreme" makeover for your entire life. Most of the contestants seemed to realize how much everyone hated Vicky from last season because they announced (Dan in particular) that the show was not about the money, it was about the weight loss (how long will that attitude last?).

Next up was a challenge and boy was it? Everyone had to paddle a boat, and then hike up a mountain to reach their flag first. The winner received immunity and the loser received a one pound penalty. Tara (green team) won and Dan (orange, bless his heart) came in last. The contestants then had their last chance workout and this is where the show really got good. Bob finally lost it with Joelle and told her to "shut up and do what he said". It was great! Every time he told her to do something she was doing that passive aggressive bullshit where she agreed with him and kept repeating "no fear" over and over (you just knew that it was put on and fake) and Bob just started yelling at her. I loved it and it worked; she finally stopped talking.

Week two Weigh-In's are notoriously hard and this one was no exception. The bottom two were Daniel (orange) and Jerry (the old man from the white team). Joelle just missed being below the bottom line and I think many would agree had she fallen below she would have gone home. Everyone knew that both Jerry and Dan needed (and wanted) to be on the Ranch but in the end Jerry was sent home. I actually got a little teary when Jerry was sent home but after seeing his at home piece it looks as if he and his wife are doing well.

As for the rest of the at home contestants, all seem to be working out and trying to be good with food. Although it was a little scary to see David (orange) ordering hot dogs and french fries when he first arrived home. The show is keeping us posted on how everyone is doing and I will be interested to see how Carla (Joelle's teammate) reacts when she realizes how poorly Joelle is behaving. Right now Joelle is the one I want gone but that could change (very quickly). See you next week.

2009 Biggest Loser - Doing it at Home

Over the Holidays I listened to quite a few of my family and friends bitching about their weight (including me). I decided that we all needed a little incentive. Maybe it was me missing the show or maybe I need the money or maybe just maybe we all need a jump start but for whatever the reason, myself and 11 others have put $50 in a pot (that's right it is up to $600) and we are all going to see who can lose the most weight by March 31. As with the show the final winner is judged by the total percentage of weight loss and we are trusting each other to not fudge on the scale (we live all over from New York to Florida and many states in between). I will keep you posted on how I am doing (by the way I love junk food...a lot). Over the Holidays I was able to go to my favorite place to eat (by the way there are none in South Florida and it kills me), Bojangles. If you have never had their chicken biscuit...oh wait never mind you can't have it; go eat a carrot stick!

Stay tuned for the new season of The Biggest Loser Couples on Tuesday night (tomorrow). Hopefully there will be no one that I Hate this time. Later taters!
