This is the week! I must begin my good days and bad days calculation so that I can lose a little weight and get my health under control. I am reporting in to David Dust and trying to create some weight loss camaraderie to get my shit together. I am starting at 135 and hoping to lose 7 or 8 pounds (my goodness I hate posting my weight but if its out there than I have to acknowledge it). Good luck to everyone.

Good Days and Bad Days...

Why? How?

I read David Dust's blog this morning (as I do every morning) and he was complaining (bitching) about his weight (post here). It is funny because I had been mouthing the same words to myself when I weighed in this morning. How is it possible that I have gained back almost all of the weight that I lost in the last few months? And why does it seem so difficult to lose the weight but gaining it back is a breeze. I am frustrated with myself, my body, my age and hell even my husband at this point.

My Own Version of The Biggest Loser
I let all of you know that my family and friends were doing our own version of the Biggest Loser (post here) back in January. We are now two months in and I have lost a total of about 7 pounds. In fact we decided to do two small monthly prizes at the end of January and the end of February (the big prize is the end of March) and I found out today that I won for February. Yeah me! I am very excited; although today I have eaten like a pig. Also just another exciting weight story, I fit in to my skinny designer jeans this weekend. We went out Saturday night and I was able to wear (meaning button and breathe) my designer jeans that have not fit me since last summer. I am hoping to lose a few more pounds but I thought that you all would appreciate.
Now what will I eat for snack time?

The Biggest Loser - Jillian Goes Ballistic (Part 1)
Last night on The Biggest Loser no one was sent home (that will happen tonight due to the debate) so the teams spent their time cashing in on prizes won previously or working out and complaining about something.
The Red Team (Phil and Amy) had a 24 hour pass to go home and see their family. They took their three boys on a hike and contemplated the changes in their life now that the weight loss has begun. Back in LA, Amy and Shellay (Purple Team) used their prize of 24 hours with their trainer. Do any of us really believe that spending 24 hours with Jillian is a prize? Please help me to understand why anyone would voluntarily pick torture?
Now Jillian apparently has been trying to be a little nicer this season (I am not seeing it) but she went off on both Amy and Shellay during this episode. At one point she actually sent Amy (purple) out of the gym because of her attitude. Now Amy, you may want to laugh when Jillian is talking but don't do it. Have you seen her arms? She could knock you out! I will say that in Jillian's shoes (which by the way would never happen) I would be pissed too. She continues to ask her group to give a little extra and they are not doing it. Obviously some are not as committed as others.
The challenge this week was won by Vicky (Brown Team) who was able to hold on in a tank of water the longest. Incidentally Vicky has now informed her husband, Brady, that he is holding her back and that if she wants to work out more he needs to stop yelling at her. Someone threatened maybe by a woman beating him? Hmmm...strong marriage.

Tonight someone (just one) will go home. Who will it be?
