Just a quick shout out to Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler of Friday Night Lights for finally (finally) getting Emmy nominations. I am so excited for the two of them and so happy for the show. Maybe all of the fan love helped a little.
I am so excited for them! I clapped (to myself) at my desk when I read the nominations yesterday.
Last week's episode was wonderful, there is this amazing 'true life' quality about that show that makes it so believable. I love how they handled the entire "Glen" issue from beginning to end, the way Eric was restrained but clearly affected when first learned of the incident, then their convo in bed and finally with the great joke about Glen not drinking all Eric's scotch. Superb.
Can't wait for this week's episode. I did read though that they are filming the series finale right now! Sad but all good things must come to an end.
