My First Shot

So today was the day. I had to administer my first ever shot to myself. I have been putting it off all day and I knew that once the kids got home from school I would never do it. SOOOOOO with that said I gathered my courage, sat down, cleaned the area and DID IT!!!! My hands shook the whole time but I did it. I have now completed my first ever shot and feel as if I conquered a fear. But now I have to do it again in two weeks. Happy Tuesday everyone.

I have a story for you.... when I was a teenager I had a horse who needed shots.
He got them in his neck. One day he flipped his head, out when the needle and syringe and went flipping up in the air. I caught it on the way down somehow not running the needle through my hand. I seriously thought about applying to vet school after that... ;-)

Wow, FP! That's amazing!

TM, I know this has to be hard. A friend of mine gets those, and the good thing is that they really help. Maybe it will get easier for you. I'm thinking about you!

OMG, I'm totally feeling with you. Need to take shots every two days b/c of MS. Never gets easier for me - even after 8 years.
