Quick Update

I am still wading through my shows after a week of no television (I know it is amazing that I went that long). Last night the husband and I watched the finale of Friday Night Lights. I have said this before and I will say this again (and again and again); this is the BEST show on television. I laugh, I cry, I get pissed off etc and that is just in the first ten minutes. I am very interested to see what happens next year when half of the cast goes off to college but the final moments when the coach was fired and it showed him checking out his new school were very promising. I hate that we have to wait for so long to watch the show (I don't get DirectTV so I cannot see it until next Spring) but I will be waiting with bated breath no matter what. I hope that the award show people recognize how truly great this show is and if you are not watching I beg you, get the DVDs and have a marathon. It is so worth it. Plus you get a little eye candy as a bonus...

Now I am off to the pool (its 85 degrees outside) with the children. Later all.

I totally agree, TvVo Mom! The show is outstanding. This season did not disappoint either. Coach Taylor keeps getting hotter, somehow.

I love this show! I, too, wonder what will happen next season. They always keep you guessing, don't they? I'm glad Lyla is going to Vanderbilt and hope they film some scenes there. That at the end between Tim and his brother made me cry. I was so happy for Tyra and believe she'll have a chance now. Where is Landry going? I didn't hear them say. I can't stand it that Matt is giving up on the Art Institute but understand how he feels about his grandmother. I hope we keep hearing about them and the new group that will get there. I don't want to lose touch with these students.

Yes, Beth, I agree about Coach Taylor getting hotter. I really like their marriage.

I have decided that Coach Taylor is my ideal man (besides my husband of course). Joy, I think that Landry was just a junior this year (maybe?). I do hope that we keep up with these kids as well. I hate that we have to wait so long!!!

I totally agree that FNL is the best show on TV! I absolutely love it. And all its characters. And Coach Taylor is quite the man! Although, Riggins is easy on the eyes . . .
