Is anyone else loving Once Upon a Time this season? I just watched this week's episode and I am extremely confused but loving this season. The evil queen, her mother, Snow disappearing from Storybrook toFar, Far, Away (Shrek land), Rumple/Gold's antics, all of it has me wanting more. And yes I am lost constantly (ha ha I said Lost) but for some reason it makes the show even more enjoyable. And I must say, Lana Parrilla as the Regina/The Evil Queen is having an amazing season so far. Her scenes both with her mother (played by the magnificent Barbara Hershey) and with Henry were some of the best I have seen thus far. Watch this show. Get confused by this show. Lose yourself all the way to Far, Far Away with this show.

Emmy Nominations - Well hmmm
I want to begin this by saying, I have an immature view of television. I enjoy television as a diversion from my life and to that effect, I do not want to be made to think too much. I love comedies and dramas but my dramas have to be with a hint of comedy. Who wants to switch off the television and be depressed, I mean really what is the point. So with all of that said, I have many, many issues with the Emmy nominations.
- Once Upon a Time is one of the most creative shows on television and no one thinks it is worthy of any awards?
- Has anyone seen Casey Wilson on Happy Endings? Her character is one of the funniest on television and she does not get a nod?
- No drama on network television was nominated. Not one! Revenge, Fringe, Once Upon a Time, The Good Wife, Parenthood and I could go on. Many people in this world do not have cable. Just sayin.
- Veep and Girls over Cougartown, How I Met Your Mother (one of its best seasons this year), Happy Endings, New Girl and so on. Just because a show is on HBO does not mean that it is good.
- I feel as if the supporting acting categories have been taken over by Modern Family this year. I love the show. I do. But do all of them deserve to be on the list this year?

Everything I wanted...I think?!
The season finale of Once Upon a Time last night was everything I wanted and more, I think. Snow and Charming together in both lands, Emma slaying the dragon, Henry coming back from the dead, Regina getting her comeuppance, etc, etc. But, as any season finale will do, we were left with so many questions that will not be answered until next season. Plus, did anyone else feel a little sorry for Regina/the Evil Queen? I like to hate my villains, not feel sorry for them. Anyway, the questions that will be left unanswered all summer....
- What in the world is the purple stuff (I know its magic) but how will it affect Storybrook?
- Will August be OK or is he destined to be a wooden puppet forever?
- Will Jefferson ever find his daughter?
- Does finding Belle make Gold/Rumple more human or will he still be a power-hungry crazy man?
- What happens to Henry now?
- Will Emma call Mary Margaret and David, Mom and Dad, and doesn't that seem weird since they are her age?
- In Storybrook land does Red become a werewolf?

Only 1 More Epsiode Left - Once Upon a Time?!
I am excited and yes sad (this is how I get at the end of every television season) to see the finale of THE BEST SHOW on television, Once Upon a Time. Next week, the confrontation between Emma and Regina finally comes to a head. I cannot wait! Regina using the last of her magic, Henry eating the apple, August becoming more and more wooden, Snow being a bad ass to save Charming from the castle, all of this led to an hour of television last night that I have already watched twice and will probably watch a few more times before Sunday night.
Who knows what is going to happen? Does anyone have any ideas? I got nothing but the wheels are starting to turn. Oh and how cool is it that the Queen can never kill Emma if she wants to curse to not be broken. Love that twist....

Finally watched....
We had company this past weekend and we have more coming for Easter (this is the season for it in South Florida) so I finally got to sit down last night and watch Once Upon a Time. And I have a few questions...
- Was Barbara Hershey just awesome as the evil Queen's even more evil mother? I thought she was scary good and want to see her more and more.
- Are you telling me that the only reason Regina is evil is because she lost her 1 true love?
- and to tie into that, Regina hates Snow because when Snow was a child she told a secret (OK I know that this secret ultimately led to Daniel's death but still Snow was manipulated by a master)? Shouldn't Regina just hate her mother?
- How did what's her face come back from the dead? Did they reinsert her heart?
- How cool was it that Midas was the D.A.?

Once Upon A Time - So Great!!!
I have always said that I admire true talent. I have no talent (not in the artistic sense) and I enjoy watching and admiring people who do. So after finally catching up on my back episodes of Once Upon a Time I must give a shout out to the writers of this amazing show. The back stories that have been created in the past few weeks for the Story Brook characters take a wonderful imagination and have been handled so well. Red Riding Hood and Beauty and the Beast especially.
I am not sure where the murder storyline is taking me but I am along for the ride for sure. Really, really enjoy this hour of television and again kudos to the writers and creators. Yes the actors are good but the ideas and stories are true artistry!
*UPDATE Once Upon a Time cocreator Adam Horowitz revealed on Twitter that the title of the season finale, airing May 13, “A Land Without Magic.” What does this mean??????

From Dreamy to Grumpy...
Last night on Once Upon a Time we learned the origination of the Dwarf, Grumpy and how he went from Dreamy to Grumpy. Also, Charming's (David) wife is missing and everyone in town thinks Snow (I mean Mary Margaret) is the town harlot. To be honest it is difficult for my brain to go back and forth between Fairyland and the real world but I adore this show.
In brief, for those of you that did not know, dwarfs are hatched from eggs and immediately put to work in the mines. In the mines the dwarfs mine diamonds for fairy dust. As dreamy was born, he was placed in his pack of 7 friends (aha) and off they went whistling a little tune to work in the mines. All would have been well had Dreamy not met Nova (the Fairy) and fallen in love. But alas Nova and Dreamy could not be together and inevitably this is what turned our Dreamy into the better known Grouchy.
In the real world, Dreamy/Grouchy (aka Leroy) is the town drunk who is in love with Astrid, a nun. Now that would be a match not made in heaven. Leroy helps Astrid and they have a few nice moments but obviously their love is forbidden.
Meanwhile Kathryn, David's wife, has disappeared after her car went off the side of the road. No one knows where she is and the phone records (provided by the evil queen) show that the last call that Kathryn made was to her husband. So David (aka Charming) is arrested and heading downtown (actually not sure that Storybrook has a downtown but it sounded good) to defend himself against the indisputable (phone records) against him.
Next week, the tale of Little Red Riding Hood. And yes people this is the one I have been looking forward to for some reason. Did I miss anything important? I really love this show but it is so hard to explain it to people and explain why I like it so much...

Once Upon a Time
I am loving this show. No, I mean, I am really loving this show. Last night's episode just reinforces how great this show is. I love how the writers take all that we know about a fairy tale (like Snow White) and really make it their own. Last night, Snow met Grumpy in jail. Yep, enter the 7 dwarfs.
Here are my questions from last night...who is the stranger? what is the evil bitch (I mean queen) going to do to Mary Margaret and James now that she spotted them kissing? how will Snow remember the Prince now that she has taken the potion? and I could keep going..
Anyone else watch?

Is anyone else watching?
Does anyone else watch "Once Upon a Time" on Sunday nights? I have now watched last nights episode of the show twice and I think I may be missing something. How did Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold walk right in the castle and get the all-powerful sword? What happened to his son? How did his skin become gold? Just a little confusing last night and I needed more backstory on my my backstory. Love the show but I feel like every Sunday night I go to bed confused.

I have a new show...
Ok I know that I say this alot. You know me, I like to check out new things. But this is one that I am intrigued by and I wanted to share. Has anyone else seen "Once Upon a Time". It's very interesting. A show about all of our favorite fairy tale characters stuck in reality in a town called Storybrook, Maine and no one remembers who they are. Plus, there are no happy endings. The show moves between fantasy and reality (a lot) and it takes a bit to get used to the format but I like it. Plus it is written by the same peeps who wrote a little show called "Lost". Ok, admittedly I did not watch "Lost" but I heard about it and everyone else seemed to like it. Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think. The show is on Sunday night at 8:00 on ABC and you can catch up by watching OnDemand.
