The Bachelorette - Oh the Drama!

Here is the thing...at any point on national television when asked a question like "are you lying, or tell me the truth" does anyone ever actually step up? No and why would they? It will all come out eventually but no one is going to admit any wrong doing when vying for camera time and trying to come across as a good guy. Especially the ones that are trying to get a recording contract (that's right people I don't like Wes).

Last night the remaining men (guys) travelled to Vancouver to have more time with Jillian. She had a one-on-one date with Kiptyn, a group date and then a two-on-one date with Mark and Mike. The date with Kiptyn went well (shocker) and of course he went back with a rose. Then on the group date two teams had to compete in a curling (shuffleboard on ice) match to see which team got to have dinner with Jillian. Jesse (he looks a little like Matt Damon) wins it for his team and wins the group date rose as well. David finally shows his true colors and after dropping the f bomb multiple times and then getting rejected for a kiss, we all know he is on his way out. The two-on-one date with Mike and Mark seems a shoo-in for Mike. We know him, he is open with his feelings ( a little too much if you ask me) but in a shocking twist (my goodness I sound like Chris Harrison) Jillian picks Mark and Mike goes home.

At the cocktail party with three roses already given out (Mark, Kiptyn and Jesse) Jillian has to select 2 men (guys) who are going home. We already know one (David and his foul mouth and meat head attitude) but who is the other unlucky guy? While Jillian is beginning to have her time with each of the guys, many are starting to give her a heads up as to what goes on in the house. Wes the aspiring country music singer (shocking that he wants to be on television) apparently has a girlfriend back home and is on the show for his 15 minutes of fame. No one will name names but after Tanner tells her the gist of what is going on Jillian loses it. She wants to know who has a girlfriend and if any of these men are here for the wrong reasons.

OK at this point I reiterate, did anyone expect any of these fellas to openly admit that they just wanted to be on TV? The funniest thing was when David tries to call out whoever actually told Jillian what was going on (he has some really strict "Man Code" that one). Don't worry that someone is lying, worry that someone gave the girl that is supposed to fall in love a heads up. Bless Tanner he was sweating through the whole thing and I hoped that no one was going to give him away. He is not one of my favorites but I think he did the right thing. Anyway since no one ever said anything Jillian sent David (shock) and Juan (really shock) home. Juan was not expected. Although I thought he was a tool ( and the sparkling eye thing took me over the edge) I was under the impression that Jillian liked him. I need to give the girl a little more credit.

So next week someone gets confronted about the girlfriend thing (Wes I hope). Do they go home? We just have to wait and see. By the way, you know that summer TV is bad when I actually look forward to the Bachelorette. Just an FYI!
