The Bachelorette - Will Wes Ever Go Home?

After the complete and utter debacle of last week's rose ceremony that ended with Jillian's one smart decision thus far (sending David home) this week the whole crew is headed to Whistler. Jillian and the guys are ready for some frozen time and first up is one of my favorites, Michael.

Michael, the sweet, goofy, break dance instructor (I know right) just makes me laugh (and Jillian too) but I am not sure that this is enough. Jillian did not seem to want to kiss him and while she kept him around with a rose, I feel as if his days are numbered.

Next up was the group date that included everyone else except Jesse. Now Jillian wanted to get to the bottom of the whole "who has a girlfriend thing" but the way she went about it just seemed all wrong. No man is going to admit any wrongdoing ever unless you have proof. I am so frustrated by how dumb (sorry Jillian) Jillian seems when it comes to Wes. His lines are contrived and well rehearsed (like he has watched previous seasons and practiced), he constantly has to mention his CD, and he just does not seem as up front as she would like him to be (or thinks he is). But she is snowed (get it snowed hee hee) by his looks and attitude. On the group date Ed mentions that he is having trouble at work so Jillian gives him the rose (?). What a waste of the rose when Ed the next day announces that he must leave or risk losing his job. So Ed is out and Jillian cries.

Finally Jillian has her one on one with Jesse on a glacier. I think the funniest line of this whole segment was when Jillian says "let's go explore our glacier" and the camera cuts to a vast wide-open space of white. Yeah lots to explore by the way. Anyway, Jesse and Jillian seem to get along well and Jesse gets a rose.

The rose ceremony this week is not precluded by a cocktail party. Jillian knows who she is going to send home and wants to get right to it. Will it be Tanner (root of all the drama), Wes (has she finally seen through him), Jake (Mr. Too Perfect) or Mark (he has not said he likes me)? The only one to go home this week is, in fact, wait for it.....Mark. Disappointing that Wes is still around but mark had very little screen time so you knew it was inevitable.

The scenes for next week are interesting, Wes "admits" that he wanted to promote his album (whatever that is an editing trick) and someone has erectile dysfunction in the bedroom? Wait what? Has it already gotten to that point? Who is it going to be?
